What's New in 2015 at the K&A Office

They say the only thing that stays the same is that nothing will ever stay the same. This is definitely true in business, and the K&A family has been evolving! Now that we’re elbow-deep into 2015, we have some exciting updates to share.

A new member joined us at K&A in the fall. We’re so happy to welcome Kathrine Lupo to the team! Kathrine is a Stetson University of Law graduate and received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston College. She has also been a licensed Florida real estate agent since 2006, so she has a great understanding of the nuances of property transactions and does a great job of adding that extra touch to her client interactions.

Kathrine stays very busy outside the office — she is an active member of the Landlord & Tenant Committee and Membership, Diversity, & Law Schools Committee of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association.

The extra hand on board has created some flexibility among the team. Jacqueline Meeker is now based out of Orlando, which allows us to serve clients outside the Sarasota County area in a greater capacity. She’s doing a great job in her new location, and K&A can now offer full legal services to clients in the Orlando area more easily.

Lastly, Jo Ann is working on an exciting new project for the firm — we can’t share all the details just yet, but the new project will help us serve clients with international needs. Stay tuned!
